Our mission continues with renewed energy and commitment to building a sustainable future. We aim to:
- Reach every village with our “One Village, One Forest” mission, supporting initiatives like “Nanak Bagichi ” and creating green jungles around residential areas. We will promote the “Miyawaki Forest” ,a concept from Japan in villages to boost biodiversity and environmental health.
- Spread kitchen gardening at every household and encourage the development of five-star rated eco-friendly households and campuses.
- Raise awareness across communities for effective waste management, conducting workshops on handling kitchen green waste, household plastic waste, and e-waste from households, organizations, and institutions.
- Implement remedial plans for water and electricity conservation, reducing unnecessary wastage through community education and practical mechanisms.
- Promote eco-friendly celebrations — birthdays, anniversaries, and good academic results can be celebrated by planting and nurturing trees and plants, while festivals will be celebrated as Harit (Green) Festivals to deepen the connection with nature.
- Encourage effective waste management practices that protect clean drinking water and support tree growth by minimizing tree cutting and reducing the use of plant-based paper products.
- Promote solar energy adoption across households, institutions, businesses, agricultural fields, and industries to reduce pollution and dependence on non-renewable resources.
- Digitally track and support every sapling planted to ensure their healthy growth and long-term survival.
- Collaborate with schools and colleges to achieve Green Campus certifications and promote initiatives aimed at creating Zero Waste Campuses.
- Launch Punjab’s first AI-driven Green Tracker App to foster active citizen participation in environmental protection efforts.
- Promote rooftop gardening and urban farming in city areas to enhance green cover and support local food production.
- As part of our future vision, PSG aims to identify and nurture a new generation of young environmental volunteers, supported by the collective strength of Matri Shakti (Mothers), Nari Shakti (Women), and Yuva Shakti (Youth).
- Together, we will focus on preserving and promoting the Five J’s of PSG — ensuring that environmental consciousness is passed on to and practiced by upcoming generations.
- This is not just a plan — it’s our commitment to build a strong, sustainable, and inclusive eco-leadership movement for the future.
Together, these initiatives will empower communities, preserve natural resources, and make Punjab a model state for environmental conservation and sustainable living.
