Paryavaran Sanrakshan Gatividhi is an all-India group dedicated to improving the environment. With thousands of people as part of its organizational structure across Punjab, the group aims to make positive changes to the environment through activities and through awareness creation.
Our approach — HARIT — is a holistic framework for environmental revival rooted in indigenous wisdom and collective action.
Through structured campaigns and community-driven initiatives, we address the most pressing environmental challenges facing Punjab today.
Planting native species across Punjab to combat deforestation, restore green corridors, and improve air quality in urban and rural areas.
Cleaning and restoring rivers, ponds, and lakes through community participation, removing pollution, and promoting rainwater harvesting.
Encouraging farmers to adopt chemical-free, traditional farming methods to protect soil health and reduce agricultural pollution.
Promoting segregation at source, composting of organic waste, and reducing single-use plastics through community education programs.
Conducting workshops, seminars, and school programs to build awareness about constitutional duties toward the environment.
Transforming villages into model ecological communities by integrating renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and green infrastructure.
